Ocean Sole Hand carved, 6-inch tall x 11-inch long elephant and 8-inch tall giraffe. Ocean Sole, a Kenyan-based nonprofit, is a dynamic social enterprise dedicated to transforming discarded flop-flops into vibrant sculptures, providing employment, education and an opportunity for local artists.
“All our products are made from recycled flip-flops that are collected from the beaches, waterways and landfills in Kenya. These products are hand carved by Kenyan artisans and are all unique, therefore they will differ in colour from the image shown. Every sculpture is more than just décor — it’s a piece of upcycled art that tells a story of transformation. From recycled flip-flop art to full-sized recycled art sculptures, each creation supports ocean conservation art, promotes ethical home decor, and makes a meaningful impact as part of our social enterprise in Kenya. These pieces are ideal as sustainable gifts that bring purpose, color, and creativity into any space.”
